500ml bottle, from trade with Ash! Many thanks. BBD 31/12/14 so perhaps not an accurate reflection of the beer. Pours hazy gold, huge unrelenting head. Aroma is herbal. Taste is herbal, leafy, floral with dandelions, pine and sweet malts with faint saison yeast peering from underneath. Doesn’t particularly join up well but it’s different. Half the bottle has been lost to gushing upon opening!! Massive off white head even after letting it froth out. Pours a murky orange/ brown. Aroma is oranges, spices, yeast funk, slightly astringent note, taste is higher Belgium yeast profile, very dry, lasting bitter finish. Bang on the money for a new age saison

Bottle from Cornelius. Bit of a gusher. But off white head collapses to decent lacy. Golden, slightly hazy. Belgian on the nose, yeast and some citrus. Lively carbonation. Lightish body. Saison with malts, some fruit but not overpowering. Very refreshing. Lonick (1874) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 30, 2013
