Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazed, golden yellow colored body with an inch thick, frothy and foamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened, somewhat bready pale malts with a light floral fruitiness and touches of apple. Flavor is similar. Lightly sweetened pale malts with a slight breadiness and a decent floral fruitiness. Some touches of apple again before this finishes clean and dry with a light bitterness and a touch of sweetness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a smooth, light body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty decent Helles. Clean, balanced, and easy drinking with no off flavors. Not bad.

On tap at tue brewpub in Madrid... Very clody golden color, good head... Very refreshing hop aromas... Spicy, but not too intensive flavor... Good and interesting beer.

2/12 On tap at the brewpub, as Naturbier Rubia. It had slightly hazy golden body with medium sized head. Fine biscuit and dusty aroma, although weak. Typical central European helles flavor, sweet honey malts, chalky and yeasty, with touch of dryer herbal hops. Medium body with long, bittersweet finish that quite pleasantly rounded this beer. Not bad, of the two offered I liked this one better.

Draft at the brewpub. Light golden yellow color, really hazy. Nice firm bright white head. Drinks with a grainy and sweet character. Creamy mouthfeel. Bitter finish, in a mushy way. Nice break from the plethora of Spanish macro-lagers. (#4834, 11/2012)

On tap at the brewpub. The only artigianal beer in Madrid. Hazy golden with a white head. Bitter finish with a hint of citrus.

On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Malty and lightly fruity aroma with hints of yeast. Light boydied and easy to drink. Slightly bitter finish with a hint of citrus. Quite well balanced. Refreshing! (2012-08-15)

Lowenbrau (4362) - Asturias, SPAIN - APR 25, 2012
On tap at Naturbier Brewpub. Malt and yeast aromas. Pale gold colour, some haziness, poor white head. Low to mid carbonation, light body, tastes malt flavors, with some skunkiness. Much overestimated in Madrid, in my opinion.
