Orange brown color. Vanilla and citrus in the aroma. Hopbitter flavor (30 EBU: Challenger and East Kent Goldings, the label says) with vanilla and citrus. A touch of yeast. Soft and smooth flavor, but with a firm bitterness and some blackcurrant in the aftertaste. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2006
Bottle. Hazy orangey amber with a small head and lots of particles floating around. Fruity and spicy aroma with a hint of coriander. Sweet and yeasty flavours with vegetables and spices. Warming alcohol. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 20, 2010
Bottled. Amber colour with some slight haze, head is off-white and leaves some slight lace. Aroma is bready malts, with some slight sweet malty notes along with some yeast, mild spices and grassy notes as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some grassyness as well as fruits and mild spicy notes as well. Bloekie (210) - BELGIUM - SEP 4, 2009
Very hoppy. Orange colour with a smaller foamy head. Aroma is very hoppy as well. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JUN 10, 2005
Bottled. Sweet citrus aroma, yeast and herbal in the back. Amber/copper color, beige head with large bubbles in the foam, very nice lace. Light sweet, malty, smoke, spices, light sour. Not bad but a chemical herb bitterness that I disliked a lot. Dry and warming. Also the smokiness in a spicy Belgian Ale is not a good combination.
