COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the classic English-style Brown Ale has a blend of six different malts and a hop schedule that results in a low hop character. The unique malt character brings to mind the taste of a blend of various nuts. Coffee, toffee, caramel tend to come to mind in this excellent session Ale.

Slightly nutty aroma and clear reddish brown color. Has a smooth toasted caramel flavor and light palate.

Although I don't pick up the standard but brown characteristics, this is a great beer that provides a lot of drinkability.

Pint on tap. Mahogany color. no lacing, small head fades off, clear-ish. Nice sweet malty aroma, nice slightly toasty taste with no hop bitterness--middle-of-the-road for the style; points for complexity. They make beer in Nebraska? I’m impressed!

Draft at the brewpub. Malt forward. Bready American yeast aroma. No hop character in the nose. Taste is a nice malty sweet, light chocolate, mild caramel blend. Good session drinker.

Aromas of toasted malts and caramel, with hints of nuts and suggestions of coffee. When held to the light, the pour is a clear but dark reddish-brown with a short-lived tan head and minimal lacing. M-m-m This a very tasty brew considering the ABV. Its malt forward in flavor - toasted malts, nuts, bread, and caramel. Medium body and moderate carbonation. In summary, my first beer from Nebraska and it was worth the wait. The is not flat like Newcastel.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a semi-dark rugged brown color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated pretty quick. Sly messy lacing. The aroma takes the sweet roasted nuttiness to blend with the caramel and toffee malts. Smooth light milk chocolate. Subtle roasty coffee bean. The flavor brings about the roasty qualities to glide into the smooth sweet malts. Nuttiness is there and leads into a gentle aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Nicely carbonated. Smooth roasty notes hit my tongue nicely. Overall, this one was a very nice brown ale that I would have again.

12oz can. A pretty solid US brown ale. Malty, easy going, clean...yet some decent depth. Nutty, caramel brown malts, maybe a touch of amber malt, all very judicious. Medium bodied, filtered, quite drinkable. Good.
