Rated on 10-09-2017. Canned on 07/21/17. The appearance is a large very fizzy, frothy off-white head that quickly dissipated, hazy medium yellow body, very little carbonation and slow rising, and no lacing. The aroma is wheat, yeasty, banana, light clove, fruity, and malt. The flavor is a hint of bitterness, wheat, yeast, banana, light clove, malt, moderately sweet, and a dry finish. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and thin. This beer is light-medium bodied. Overall, this beer is easy to drink with a sweet finish. This is not one of the better beers of this style that I have drank/rated. It is definitely not mind blowing for the style. TheLouse8 (27) - Nebraska, USA - SEP 24, 2017

Can, from the brewery. Quite a nice hefe, balanced, dry, lightly fruity with just hints of spice. Holds up against some great German hefeweizens, good stuff. Zlotta (3728) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - SEP 6, 2017
0.355 l can from 'Rudat'. Hazy, golden yellow with a large, fluffy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and moderately yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, pear, some clove and hints of orange peel. Moderately sweet, not overly yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of banana, pear, some clove and traces of vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Very solid Weizen, rather fruity for the style, definitely worth a try even though you can find so many wheat beers in Germany of the same quality for a fifth of its price. Pours a hazed yellow, thin, unstable head. Aroma is yeast, spice, lemon, a little cardboard. Has a good wheaty feel to it. Smooth lemon flavors, coriander and clove, perhaps some white grape peel... Sweet, thin finish. I’ve rerated this twice now in 20 minutes. Has some Berliner qualities. Not bad.

Pours a cloudy gold with a good-sized eggshell head that leaves some spotty lace. Nose of typically hefe yeast character, spice and dough. Fairly sweet, somewhat bitter. Medium bodied, softer carb, slick, with a dusty spicy doughy yeast finish. Good American take on the style, pretty well played. superspak (5877) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUN 24, 2017
12 ounce can into weizen glass, canned on 2/3/2017. Pours hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, nutmeg, coriander, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, nutmeg, coriander, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, nutmeg, coriander, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and fairly creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a very nice hefeweizen. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Well rounded yeast complexity and balanced malts; with just enough hop presence to round it out. Slightly on the thin side; but still very flavorful for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. dnstone (3485) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JUN 20, 2017

Light Hefe with slight hints of spice and even lighter fruits. Some body but thins on the palate.

From the taps, a slightly hazy golden pour with a pretty porcelain head. Aroma delivers strong wheaty, lemon and malty tones, a little sweet and really tempting on a day that’s hot. Lip-smacking wheaty flavor offers rich wheat, malt and citrus tones plus more than a hint of yeast. Mouthfeel features firm, smooth body but lively, sassy fizz. A great hefe for heifers - and other bovines, and humans alike.
