COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This medium to full-bodied beer, pale to golden in color, is most accurately described as a Bavarian wheat beer. The aroma and flavor of this unfiltered beer is decidedly fruity and spicy evoking tastes and aromas of cloves, nutmeg or sometimes vanilla with banana-like esters. Somewhat sweeter in style with a barely noticeable tartness. An award winning Hefeweizen from the heartland.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of clove and restrained bananas, with a touch of citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of clove, mild banana and citrus finish. Standard hef. Drinkable enough but nothing special.

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich banana, wheat malt, yeast, fruits and hops. Sweet finish.

Single can with no date code into a pilsner glass. Admittedly purchased only for the Nebraska state tick as I dislike wheat beers. A: Rough pour yields almost no head which was gone in a minute. Thick yellow appearance you cannot see through.. S: Smooth sweet earthy scent with the slightest hint of banana. T: Grainy tart flavor with thankfully no noticeable sweetness. Pear? Sort of saison-esque. M: Thick body with low carbonation and tartness lingering on the finish. O: Another wheat beer... Points off for no dating.

The beer pours a clear golden color with a persistent white head. The aroma blends banana and wheat, and the flavor is mildly sweet with stromy banana notes. It is a bit one dimensional though. The carbonation isnt as high as I like in this style, but it has a nice full mouth feel.

Eos Hefeweizen has a thick, fluffy, off-white head, an opaque, orange-gold appearance, racing bubbles, and minimal lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of pungent, full, sweet, white wheat bread and coriander spice, with background banana. Flavor is the same, with some bubble gum, and just the faintest hop note. Mouthfeel is medium and soft (or, fluffy), and Nebraskas Eos Hefeweizen finishes on the dry and mellow side. RJT

I Hate beer from Can. Specially in Hefeweizen style.
