On tap. This drinks like an american hopped belgian. I am not a fan. I’ve had better experiments in the Belgian IPA category, Good malt and hop balance, but the flavors and aromas didn’t mesh for me.

On tap at GTMW. Poured cloudy, lighter peach with a nice beige head. The aroma was sweet and warm with apricot, pale malt, and honey notes leading.. peppery accents.. just a touch too sweet. The flavor was on the sweet side as well, with apricots and other light-skinned fruits leading.. warm peppery notes plus some tangy fruit skins around.. finished hot with spicy hops and alcohol over bready malts. Heavier-bodied with high bitterness on the palate.. good feel and flow.. I enjoyed this.

Pour on tap at Avery IPA fest, hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of pepper, white grape, peach, slight biscuit, hints of grass, pine, sweet orange and caramel notes as well, overly ripe tropical fruit slightly come in as well. Taste is a mix of sweet orange, tropical fruit, white fruit, touch of peach, biscuit, earth, grassy notes, finishing sweet, slightly bitter. Tasty!

On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a one-finger white head. Lemon peel, pepper, spicy hops, banana, and esters in the aroma. Taste is biscuit, banana, spice, floral hops, and grass ending moderately bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Tasty stuff. Nice!

When I think of good beer, I don’t think of Nebraska, but these guys did it again. Hoppy high % yet easy to take. Lemongrass, a bit yeasty and a standout citrus makes this a winner.

Pouring at GTMW 2012 Cloudy straw colored pour shispy white head. Simple aroma west coast IPA not much of the beglian coming through. Overly grassy acidic taste w/ some graham crackers in the finish. Average palate, not very good.

Sample from beerfest. Poured a hazy yellow color with a fizzy off white head. Aroma was citrus, lemon zest and pines. Flavor was pledge, lemon and alcohol. Medium body. Grassy medium body. Kind of balanced beer. Finished a little spicy and hoppy. Decent beer.

Bomber. Poured deep gold with a medium-sized, fizzy white head. Aroma and flavor struck me as more Belgian tripel than IPA. I got the grapefruit hops, but there was more spiciness, fruit, and dankness. Tasty though; enjoyed it.

On tap. Hazy light orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma and taste of banana bread, grapefruit, pine, and Belgian yeast with a light fruity spiciness on the back end. Not bad.
