Pours a hazy golden with large, bubbly head that is persistent. Prominent wine/champagne aroma with sweetness upfront with tart downturn and a touch of bitterness. Perhaps a touch of oak. Moderate mouthfeel and soft, effervescent carbonation. VsXsV (4528) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 20, 2012

Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus, wood and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

It poured a cloudy yellow/gold color with a white head. The aroma was of oak wood chips, Chardonnay, light honey and floral notes. The taste was similar with light apple notes. A very good Belgian Ale.

At FWIBF. Pours a Golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is fruity and oaky vanilla. Taste is dry and acidic with some sweetness and a little Chardonnay. Another enjoyable brew. FURLYSURIOUS (263) - Orono, Minnesota, USA - JUN 12, 2012
Pours a pale honey gold with a milky, dense few fingers of head... perfect retention and healthy abundant beading.
The nose is pretty imposing - ripe figs, white grapes, soft woods, faint cherry, lilac, boozy honey, delicious.
Translates quite nicely onto the tongue. Big white grape notes, some vinegar-y booze that doesn’t dominate, light fruits, floral bits. I can’t even begin to dissect the flavors without considering the PERFECT mouthfeel. I can’t stress this enough. All these flavors occupy the best consistency I’ve ever encountered in the style. It makes for such a lovely beer to drink.
Extremely well done.

Tasted on 6/8/2012 at SAVOR 2012. Poured gold. Nice amount of oak and some chardonnay on top of a blonde ale. Really enjoyable. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - JUN 10, 2012
If you like chardonnay you will love this one...super dry! Looks like a normal belgian golden, yellow and cloudy with a large white head. Very dry, acidic, oaky, much like a good chardonnay. It’s balanced with the sweetness of a strong belgian ale. Truly a great beer and great with food. Should be drank at around 50 degrees, not too cold. radagast83 (8301) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Poured from bottle at SAVOR. Poured a slightly haze light orange color with a white head. Aroma was some nice light fruits, touch of vanilla and woody oak. Alcohol isn’t too overpowering. Very tasty.
