A hazy yellow with good head and lacing. Light aroma of citrus and oak with tannic wine smell and some alcohol. Can taste the Chardonnay and oakiness with some sweet citrus and alcohol flavor and warmth. Full mouthfeel with high, crisp carbonation. Flavors do not meld perfectly but has a unique taste.

Hazy golden pour with a fluffy single finger head. Tons of lace present. Aroma of chardonnay, big time wine notes. Medium bodied. Taste has a lot of wine notes, chardonnay specifically. Really feels like a wine beer. Hard to distinguish where the wine starts and the beer ends. Finish has some bubblegum like qualities. Belgian yeast strain for sure. A bit of a solvent or higher alcohol note in the finish. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 28, 2017
Opaque gold with a white head. Belgian yeast aroma with earthiness. Flavor is wheat malt or character like such from the yeast. Full flavor but medium body. Quite good. darbeer75 (887) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - NOV 26, 2016
Aroma: bready with some chardonnay notes; Appearance: cloudy golden pour with creamy white head that lingers; Taste: several layers of taste including chardonnay, fruitiness, oakiness, belgian spice, etc. Palate: medium body with long, oaky finish; Overall: delicious and complex; would definitely buy again. wombat23 (1362) - Texas, USA - NOV 26, 2016
Shared 25.4 oz. bottle. Pours a murky golden color with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, honey and white wine. Taste is fruit, pear, yeast, honey, Chardonnay and oak. Very good. dfinney23 (3250) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 17, 2016
Damn, what’s it been, two or three years since I had a threesome? I gotta work on that. Fruit, bread and yeast with lots of tannins. Better than most wine barrel finished beers I’ve had.

750 ml. Hazy golden-amber body has some nice bubble activity that holds up a half inch of billowy foam. Really nice looking beer. Nose is a pleasing blend of orange, honey, pear, earthy spicy yeast and white wine. Flavor is the same mix with some oak in the finish. Medium-plus body has smooth medium-plus carbonation and a nice balance. Just a touch of the big abv comes though. I believe they’ve tweaked the original recipe in a good way with a bit of dark malt and/or candi sugar. jflopsu (1592) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 17, 2016
Pours a bright yellow -orange with white head a visible sediment. A citrus, spices, and yeast. A sweet taste of fruit malts, citrus, yeast, wheat, spices, and white wine. A sweet malt and yeast aftertaste. Beachmaster (546) - Oklahoma, USA - JUL 2, 2016
On draught. Pours a hazy orange amber, with a moderate white head that lasts. Nose is Belgian yeast and banana. Taste starts like a classic Belgian strong ale, but finishes quite dry, with a wine taste. You can really taste the oak. Very nice. JDBaker11058 (2153) - Maryland, USA - MAY 27, 2016
appearance: clear bright gold, creamy white head, even some lacing. aroma: honey smacks and golden grahams, with lemon, vanilla, grass, pepper, apple skins, and kiwi. taste: sweet, slightly grainy, with floral honey and general cereal character; there’s some white wine notes (more like a hint of apple cider vinegar), with some woody notes too. finish: slight bit of alcohol heat, with lingering yeasty esters, some sweetness, and a bit of white wine echo. notes: Alcohol was incredibly well-hidden. Strong, but incredibly flavorful with a deceptive palate. 750 from the Rare Beer Club.

Hazy golden, moderate head, good lace/retention. Aroma is pepper, yeast, fairly fruit, like wine barrel. Medium bodied, peppery, fruity, yeasty - tasty. Grossly overpriced at $25/bottle but really nice stuff.
