COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the classic English-style Brown Ale has a blend of six different malts and a hop schedule that results in a low hop character. The unique malt character brings to mind the taste of a blend of various nuts. Coffee, toffee, caramel tend to come to mind in this excellent session Ale.

355ml can. Hazy, dark brown colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Nuttily dark malty and slightly fruity hoppy aroma, hints of hazelnut, some caramel and toffee, hints of red berries. Taste is slightly sweet dark malty, hints of hazelnut, caramel, fruity hoppy overtones with hints of orange, a minimally artifical fruity touch of cherry and red berries. So-so.

Draught > Flying Saucer. Weak flavor and a crazy thin palate. Hardly any aroma too. This is not a good brown. Thankfully it is only $3 b/c it's Monday.

I had this at Flying Saucer in KC. Pours brown like tea with a thick tan head. Taste nutty, caramel, mild finish. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy brown copper with a small off white head that left no lacing around the pint glass. The aroma is roasted malts, nuttiness, brown bread crust. The flavor is similar to the aroma but the nuttiness is even more prevalent in the flavor. The mouthfeel is light to medium and the drinkability is high.
