COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This medium to full-bodied beer, pale to golden in color, is most accurately described as a Bavarian wheat beer. The aroma and flavor of this unfiltered beer is decidedly fruity and spicy evoking tastes and aromas of cloves, nutmeg or sometimes vanilla with banana-like esters. Somewhat sweeter in style with a barely noticeable tartness. An award winning Hefeweizen from the heartland.

Pours a hazed yellow, thin, unstable head. Aroma is yeast, spice, lemon, a little cardboard. Has a good wheaty feel to it. Smooth lemon flavors, coriander and clove, perhaps some white grape peel... Sweet, thin finish. I’ve rerated this twice now in 20 minutes. Has some Berliner qualities. Not bad.

Pours a cloudy gold with a good-sized eggshell head that leaves some spotty lace. Nose of typically hefe yeast character, spice and dough. Fairly sweet, somewhat bitter. Medium bodied, softer carb, slick, with a dusty spicy doughy yeast finish. Good American take on the style, pretty well played.

12 ounce can into weizen glass, canned on 2/3/2017. Pours hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, nutmeg, coriander, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, nutmeg, coriander, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, nutmeg, coriander, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and fairly creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a very nice hefeweizen. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Well rounded yeast complexity and balanced malts; with just enough hop presence to round it out. Slightly on the thin side; but still very flavorful for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Light Hefe with slight hints of spice and even lighter fruits. Some body but thins on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the taps, a slightly hazy golden pour with a pretty porcelain head. Aroma delivers strong wheaty, lemon and malty tones, a little sweet and really tempting on a day that’s hot. Lip-smacking wheaty flavor offers rich wheat, malt and citrus tones plus more than a hint of yeast. Mouthfeel features firm, smooth body but lively, sassy fizz. A great hefe for heifers - and other bovines, and humans alike.

A divine appointment to the hefeweizen style, Nebraska’s EOS is impeccable. Full bodied with a soft pillowy mouthfeel, it delivers both fruity banana notes and mild clove. Very quenching. Pours very hazy maize, but little head, which might be It’s only flaw.

5.2%ABV. Hefeweizen. Poured out cloudy gold. 6 SRM. Nose is pronounced bubblegum with hint of sweet cloves. Mouthfeel is beery and carbonated. Palate has good solid pale malt giving it a clean lager-like palate. Finish is beery.

12 oz, can pours a hazy light golden color with a few white bubbles, but basically no head. (I then looked at the bottom of the can to find "canned 06/16/16" stamped there). Aroma is of wheat, lemon, and banana. Taste is sour. Body is light to medium with very lively carbonation. A real disappointment, but I should have checked the date first.

Can, beerfox, lv. Golden yellow hefehazy. Yeasty doughy node, floury, dusty dirty feeling. Yellow fruits, raw banana. Med bldied, malty, wheaty, doughy. This light be a little old. Feels doughy dusty.
