Draft at KCBM Homebrew Competition 2011. Highly appealing aroma of green, leafy hops, citrus, yeast esters, hop florals, grapefruit, pine, honeyish malt sweetness and strong spiciness. Hazy medium orange-amber color with a lasting, foamy head. Flavor is an excellent meeting point between Belgian Strong and Double IPA, with strongly spicy, clovey, bubblegum-like yeast aspects, sweet, pale malts and West Coast-style hops, featuring a nice blend of fruity, fresh, piney hop flavors and generous bitterness throughout. Hefty, resinous and effervescent on the palate, body is quite full. This was incredibly tasty. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - JUN 10, 2012
Love this beer. More belgian than IPA. Pours cloudy yellow with large white head. There’s some hops in the background but this is dominated by strong fruit and sweetness. Also some citrus. Finish is dry and somewhat bitter. Mouthfeel is large and formidable. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - APR 18, 2013
Pours a hazy deeper orange with a large foamy lacing white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, peppery Belgian yeast notes, peaches, mixed citrus and I’m getting a tart cherry/Brett nose out of this beer. Along the lines of a Jolly Pumpkin beer. Flavor of peaches, tropical fruits, peppery Belgian yeast notes, very dry and lots of citrusy hop character. Getting the Brett character in the flavor too. Growler. Pours a gorgeous, bright gold hue with a soft, pure white head. Nose of banana and yeast with just hints of hops. Flavor is more Belgian than IPA, but there is certainly some citrusy hop bite. The commercial description is right on in that this beer "will leave you begging for more!" Really damn good, and the 9.2% is nowhere to be seen. Mouthfeel is medium-light with decent carbonation and mild warming. Great beer. coharahawk (170) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 25, 2011
On draft at Sugar Maple and the brewery. Pours a hazy golden with off-white head. Aroma full of belgian yeast, citrus and spicy hops. Flavor adds the sweet belgian candy notes, then finishes with crisp hops. The ABV is covered well. I’ve really enjoyed this one on several occasions.

Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma is grass, wheat, earthy, caramel and dark fruit. Taste is very sour, alcohol, vanilla, bourbon, bittersweet. Nice lacing. Clean mouth feel. Very good. NikkTwist (3223) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 23, 2014
Draft at Moriartys. Clear amber brown with red and gold highlights. Poured in a tulip. Produced a large frothy bright white head that left unusual Styrofoam-looking lace. Sharp taste up front of a strong resin floral drenched in dark caramel. Some dark amber fruits in the background. Sugar cane. Tangerine peels. Pineapple cores. Heart of palm. Pink grapefruit. Barley sugar clear toys. Burnt oranges. Anbesol. Varnish. Autumn leaves. Apricot pits. Sweet, but well balanced with a lot of bitter hoppiness. Feels like a bright sharp Barleywine. Great stuff! Total surprise! Is there a soft IPA? This is it! Subtle fruit, boozy, but very drinkable! Great, well crafted brew! Travlr (24768) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 20, 2015

Bottle. Hazy variegated golden amber color, large thick cream colored head with decent lacing. Aroma of vanilla, lemongrass, light pine. Taste is vanilla, stone fruit, grass, pine. Definitely a big beer, good bottle to share.
Clear golden orange in color... Aroma of Belgian yeast, citrus hops... Flavor is candi sugar, citrus melded with citrus hops and lingering bitter finish.... Quite good actually
