Tap at Brix, west Omaha location. Pours black with tan head. Aroma was brandy and roast coffee. Taste was sweet, brandy and some chocolate. AWISLguy (3109) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 9, 2016
750ml bottle from the Malt Shoppe in Tosa, shared with bananabi11. Fresh - not sure that is ideal, but we were anxious to try. Sweet cognac, especially in the nose. Also nose has caramel and some smoke. Taste follows with the sweet caramel, light nut and some raisin/grape all sitting on a solid sweet cognac base. There is meat smoke weaving in and out, but it is not a significant presence. Some alcohol. This was quite enjoyable. Equivalent - in a different way - to the quality of the base brew. Nice! 14.7 HuskerTan (2203) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - FEB 28, 2016

2014 bottle, popped the cap and imidiately you smell the brandy. Pouring the first glass there is quite a head. Lots of liquor and toasty goodness. Figs and licorice are dominate. Love this!!!

75cl bottle at the Jan 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Cheers to me for bringing it over from the US for my friends. What a cracking brew. Powerful, tasteful and alcohol full. Brandy and chocolate notes fill your senses as you sniff and taste the beer and it’s strong malty base. A delight to drink and my first ever beer from the State of Nebraska. minutemat (5566) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2016
75cl bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Jan 16, courtesy of Jeremy! Many thanks for sharing the most expensive bottle of beer you’ve ever bought. We are humbled. Pours dark with thin tan head. Awesome chocolatey brandy aroma. Taste brings smooth boozy dark flavours of chocolate malt, dark fruits and espresso roast. A lovely finale to a lovely evening of booze. 750 ml bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan hed. Aromas of roasted malt, brandy, oak, fruitiness and light cocoa. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bitter chocolate, vanilla, light oak and a hint of brandy with a smooth lingering chocolate finish. AirForceHops (7244) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 17, 2015
750 ml bottle, Adrien picked shared at his big Aloha going away party. My dear God, we have hammered back some beer. If this was a sport, we would be taking a trophy today.
The flavor is smoother than the Sexy Betty but has much less roast. The flavor is still damn nice with the rich chocolate still in the base. The whiskey is taken over by the Brandy with a very light ABV burn. Very gold.
