Aroma: mostly pumpkin pie spice with a bit of amber in there; Appearance: murky brown/orange pour with creamy white head that lingers; Taste: sickly spicy and sweet; sour off notes; Palate: medium body with short finish; Overall: yuck. dlihcsnatas (835) - Temple, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2017
Got it in the CAN about a year ago. So it has been sitting around for a while, hope it's still good. Orange brew with small fast fading head that smells like pumpkin. Plenty of pumpkin flavor with a good mix of spices to make it really good. Really decent brew that apparently has a decent shelf life. thegreenrooster (4663) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 25, 2017
Pour is a hazy orange with no head at all. Aroma is decent pie spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavor is spice heavy but there is a bit of sourness before the swallow. A nice spice to this beer but this is a perfect example of a pumpkin ale made too soon. The canned on date is July 17th, this is probably already at the end of it's shelf life. wombat23 (2165) - Texas, USA - SEP 11, 2017
12 oz. can. Pours a hazy pale amber, with a creamy off-white head. Nose is pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg. Taste is pumpkin, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, with the pumpkin being the most prominent flavor. Decent. jandd1983 (4720) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - SEP 8, 2017
Can. It poured a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma was of pumpkin, spices and malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more pumpkin, spices, malts with a medium body and nice carbonation. Good pumpkin beer.

Pumpkin-amber colored brew topped by an appealing white, frothy 1" thick head. Fresh, natural pumpkin flesh aromas intermingle with wheat tartness and a diffuse mix of muted pumpkin spices in the bouquet. On the palate this one again delivers natural pumpkin flesh flavor, accompanied by light spicing such as traces of allspice and ginger, though there is no sign of the wheat or tartness that was present in the aroma. A nice throwback pumpkin beer to the days when it was all, or mostly, about the pumpkin. Dacrza (1084) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - DEC 22, 2016
DATE: December 22, 2016... OCCASION: Christmas so close, and the new TV is up and functional in 4K... GLASSWARE: Hobgoblin pint... sallow orange amber body with zesty swirling bubbles... a fizzing white head flatlines to a thin halo... ginger, nutmeg, soft pumpkin and allspice invite a second breathe...mint tea and clove as well... some bread malts suggest the amber aspect... mellow, light-bodied and easily downable... its finish is lively... spicy, with plenty of pumpkin to spare as promised... the profile is nutmeg, allspice and pumpkin--as indicated, an organic, natural pumpkin ale that wins in its accessibility... not a beer that demands its own night, but one that at 6% ABV could accompany adults on a Halloween night... chinchill (5449) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 22, 2016
From a 12 oz can with an August 2016 canning date and attractive art.
Appearance: Pours sightly hazy, and golden with a decent head that has very good retention.
Aroma: Pumpkin, light spices including cinnamon and nutmeg. Approaches 8.
Taste: Conservatively spiced with baked pumpkin and biscuits.
Feel: Medium-light body and near medium carbonation.
Overall: OK. Suttree (6575) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 19, 2016
I kind of approach Pumpkin beers with caution these days. I get that brewers - good brewers, anyway - are trying not to make the undrinkable spice bomb that kind of defined the style just a few short years ago. but man is easy find a bad beer, still. This, thankfully was pretty good. There was some familiar spice in the aroma - nutmeg, allspice, etc, but also some citrus and roasty malts. Taste was lightly sweet, and spicy but not over the top. Some grassy hops and woody notes in the finish. alobar (3992) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 2, 2016
Pours a golden orange color with an off-white head that fizzes our quickly. Aroma of spice and pumpkin. Slightly sour flavor with cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin sweetness. Pretty nice.
