This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy dark tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent dark ruby red brown colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was bready and dough. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish mild malty aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of mildly bitter mild brown malt dough and breads. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 3, 2014

Drank from the bottle. Aroma is toast, caramel, grass, and earthly notes. Taste is coppery with a mild sweetness. Finishes semi dry. Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation and a sticky mouth feel. Not bad. SODAK14 (391) - Rapid City, South Dakota, USA - AUG 1, 2014
Pretty good brew... Light tan head but I was expecting a darker body. Anyway an overall good beer with a nice finish.

From a bottle. Pours clear ruby brown with a bubbly beige head. Tastes like bitter raisin, dry toast, molasses, also grassy and earthy. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells nutty, earthy, like dry toast and light alcohol. bubbleflubber (2244) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Pours a deep mahogany with a nice off-white head that leaves soapy lacing. The nose is of barnyard silage and lightly sweet caramel. Caramel and sourdough flavors finish with a medium–light grain. The mouthfeel is round with a light body and soft carbonation. Very decent session brown ale here. All of the complexity is provided in an easy quaff. Delicious. labattslover74 (86) - Florida, USA - JUL 18, 2014
A nice mahogany color with a thick head. Aroma is caramel and coffee. taste is a sharp soy sauce mixed in beer flavor with a bitter salty after taste. Basically it’s Guiness stout with a different label. I will finish the glass but not a fan. Wittales (884) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 8, 2014
