Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lovers dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editors Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

Poured into a snifter. Medium to dark amber with a cream colored head. Aroma is mildly sweet and grainy with some floral hops. Flavor is similar with some bready malt and grainy sweetness up front followed by floral hops. Medium bodied with crisp carbonation. Mild and a touch sweet but decent.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to large sized off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a strongly carbonated hazy light orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy. The sharp mild citrus crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of mild citrus mild nut and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Bottle to glass. Aroma of caramel malt and pine. Slightly chill hazed with a pristine white head that is somewhat minimal. Taste is really malty - lots of residual sugar. Earthy and slight floral hop flavor. Some grassiness came through in the end. Really just muddled all around.

12 oz bottle. Bottled on 3/27/15. (The Liquor Collection) Honolulu, HI.
Cloudy orange golden color with a small off-white head. Unfresh berry hops, some dryness and dry malt in the aroma. The flavor is dry hops, berries, moderate bitterness, cardboard and malt. Unfortunately this is far from nectar.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Hazy, copper-orange with a 1-finger pale khaki head and very good lacing. Aroma of citrus, caramel and floral hops. Taste of grapefruity citrus, floral hops, caramel and white bread. Medium body and medium carbonation. Fairly intense hops, not particularly complex, but mighty tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled from Trick Dog in the Mission in SF. Caramel notes and a darker brown than a typical IPA. On the malty side of west coast hop-bomb IPAs, very tasty. Nice hop character, too. Full-bodied.

Pours clear, dark amber with a thick, frothy and persistent pale buff head. Hoppy aroma has floral and - nectar? - notes plus a hint of malt. Drinkable flavor has hoppy, floral and nectar (or is that just honey?) tones. Texture is smooth and goes down well, though it lacks fizz. Nectar IPA or IPA nectar, down the hatch!
