Tap...very mellow, but well balanced and tasty IPA with a honey like (hence the name?) taste that was very appealing. Hops were floral and subdued making for a nice change of pace experience in an IPA. kambei70 (1091) - - MAR 15, 2015
2014 bottle. Pours a hazy golden copper with a white head. Aroma is like brewing wort, clean crystal malt with a touch of caramel. Taste is a nice clean malt bill with a little sweetness and some caramel. A very pleasant floral bitterness. Mouthfeel is a tad chalky at the very end and a little aspiriny.

Bottle at home. Pours amber gold with a nice, creamy persistent head. Aroma is some citrus and some floral. Flavor follows with nice floral and a strong malt backbone. Sweetish, but dry on the finish. This is a nice IPA, and #200 for me. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - JAN 31, 2015
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a nice golden amber color with a one finger head of billowy white foam. The head of the brew has a god level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a nice level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is a great mix of tropical fruit smells of tangerine, pineapple and mango, mixed with a decently strong grapefruit and pine citrus smell. Along with these aromas comes some other lighter bready and caramel smells as well as a little bit of a
Taste – The taste begins with a nice blend of the tropical fruits, caramel and grapefruit hops that were detected in the nose. While only a little bit of a breadiness is present upfront, as the taste advances it gets stronger at the expense of the caramel. While the sweet of the caramel fades however a bit more fruit takes its place, maintaining the overall sweetness of the beer. The grapefruit grows quite a bit stronger all while some pine and earthy hop flavors join the profile as well. The pine end up surging at the end, ad with the mix of bready and fruity tastes, ends up leaving a rather fruity and pleasantly hopped flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly chewier side for an IPA of only 6.5 % with a carbonation level that is a bit on the higher side. For the style the chewiness was fantastic but a tad lower carbonation may have been slightly more appropriate. Overall however the feel was still pretty nice.
Overall – A superb tasting and smelling IPA. This is one I wish they would bottle. Try it if you get a chance.

Great sweet honey like malty aroma. The hops are muted in the scent. I am also getting some flowery undertones. Good looking, a bit dark for an IPA with a huge white head. Tastes like it smells. Hops are not too strong or bitter with just the right amount of sweetness for balance. Overall very enjoyable, I would definitely drink this again.

Bottle from Liquor Collection Honolulu 271214. Seriously good looking beer with a golden orange colour. Citrus and Passionfruit in the aroma with a big thick creamy mouthfeel. DWestrick (774) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 22, 2014
bottle. Very balanced and smooth IPA. Add it to the "all around" IPAs that I could drink every day razzanof (72) - Leavenworth, Kansas, USA - DEC 6, 2014
From a bottle...Light malt on the aroma. Pours a decent head with good lacing. Taste is pine and a little lemon. Palate is watery but decently smooth. A really good and unique IPA

It’s okay. Not much on the aroma except some weird sweetness. That’s all I’m able to get. Taste is about the same. Not much but some weird syrupy sweetness. I’m kind of confused who makes this beer now. I’ve seen it a lot in stores and figured I’d give it a try but it’s not really what I was expecting. User134089 (1644) - - OCT 2, 2014

Poured a caramel, orange, clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of khaki white head. Tons of good looking streams of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Good amount of layered foamy lacing on the sides of the glass all the way down. Great retention on the top all the way down as well. (Sight - 4.06)
Smelled a pleasant whiff of hops right away. Got floral hops, Citra hops, caramel, toffee, pine, good deal of bitterness, Cascade hops and some even some roasty smokiness. Very nice on the nose. (Smell - 4.21)
Tasted toffee, caramel, roasty malts, buttery notes, floral hops, Citra hops, orange rind and rye hops. Almost seems more like a strong ale than an IPA. (Taste - 3.79)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, slightly bitter finish. (Feel - 3.81)
This was a very nice IPA. Big fan here. I’d have it again for sure. (Overall - 3.88)
