UPDATED: MAR 21, 2008 12oz bottle. Clear amber-gold with a white head; some sediment. Smells like nectar, honey, and flowers. Sweet like honey flavor, with a little hop balance, but definitely a mild pale ale. Nice malt fruitiness, but could use a little more hop bite and bitterness. Light body with smooth carbonation, and a slight stickiness. Really fruity and sweet for an apa, but pretty drinkable. asedzie (826) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAR 4, 2008
Pours clear golden with moderate, dense, bubbly, off-white head. Some lacing, slowly dissapating. Pungent hop aroma is pine, passionfruit, flowery, along with light toffee in the background. Flavor is mild toasty grain flavors with assertive strains of delicate very fresh tasting fruit-like and floral hop flavors, very slight hop resin in the palate, as well. Finish has very mild bitterness and leaves a wonderful floral flavor lingering all over the mouth. I love this brewery! Hop profile is outstanding; still, very well-balanced. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 29, 2008
This orange/copper ale poured with a fluffy off-white head and a floral aroma. There is a smooth hoppy flavor with out too much bitterness, and light carbonation with a sharp bite at the finish. carl4beer (522) - Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA - JAN 31, 2008
12 oz. pours a hazy and golden. small head. aroma is a floral perfume with a hint of citrus. mouthful is smooth with the floral hops dominating. finish is a little sweet and lingers with the floral hops. nice pale ale if floral hops are your thing. jarspag (601) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 20, 2008
12 oz bottle. Aroma is lackluster - slight sweet - little bit of grapefruity hops. Meidum to low bittering on the flavor with a dry finish.

This was the guest tap at Blue Mountain when I visited there. Very light amber, or medium to dark gold, take your pick, clear, slight head. Aroma was of faintly honey accented caramel malts and somewhat vegetal hops. Flavor is sweetish hops, with an unfortunate amount of those vegetal hops that I just don’t care for. Not my bag. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - OCT 23, 2007
350 ml bottle. Golden amber with a small fizzy white head. Sweet malty aroma. Malty honey and nectar taste with some nice floral hops in the finish. bhensonb (15191) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 23, 2007
12 oz. bottle. Nice floral hop aroma backed by some pale malt. Light amber color with a minimal off-white head. Some citrus aroma as the glass approaches the lips. A bit thin in body, and mild in carbonation. The flavor is citrus, with a touch of grapefruit. The malt is not participating strongly. The finish is dry, even a bit astringent. Nice persisting bitter. Very nice in the hophead sense. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 22, 2007
Very sweet citrus hop aroma. Clear light brownish tan. Sour fruity, medium hops. Finish has a tartness that turns over a little unpleasantly and clings. Not too sweet. Medium light body. Fair. DYCSoccer17 (3697) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 13, 2007
12 ounce bottle. Immediate orange citrus aromas which give way to a more earthy, resinous hop nose. Pine-sol cleanser aromas are also in there. Smells a lot like Lestoil now that I think about it. Doh. Transparent orange body with a moderate off-white head that is relatively quickly dissipating with small lacing present. Quite carbonated, prickly start with a bit of grainy malt. Appears to be basic crystal malt flavors. Light spiciness in the middle with some moderate orangey flavored hops to finish. A bit of spiced hoppiness and earthy, too. I don’t know, this just seems awfully pedestrian.
