Pours light amber with a large-bubbled white head. Very floral and woody nose, with a hint of the same honey hop aroma found in the IPA Nectar. Citrus and pepper are in there, as well. The flavor is more floral than that of any other beer I’ve had. The middle is kind of bland, but still good; it almost tastes like a very well-made lager until the hops come back in the end, bitter and piney. I like it. sloth (2897) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - MAY 17, 2006
Medium sized white head, good retention and lace. Lightly hazy, pale gold color. Flowery hop nose, light citrus and spruce. Body is light/medium with good carbonation. Light juicey hop flavors, a touch tropical with notes of melon and pineapple all backed by some light bready malts. Finish is crisp and fruity. An easy quaff <!-- b --> Props to fordest for the trade!<!-- /b --> ABUSEDGOAT (2733) - California, USA - MAY 12, 2006
Tap: orange body, fairly nice hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, pine and citrus. Fairly standard APA IMO. I liked the hop aroma more than the rest. Still not bad, but not a favorite. can8ianben (1538) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2006
Nicely average, just really well done for the style, nothing spectacular. I’d definitely drink it again, but it doesn’t really stand out for me. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - APR 16, 2006
Bottle. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Citrus aroma. Citrus hop flavor with moderate bitterness. Enough malt to back it, but a bit on the hop side of balanced. Clean and easy to drink. Lingering citrus flavor. Slight grassiness.

12 oz. bottle. Characteristic APA nose and flavor. Nothing remarkable here. I brew better american pale ales all the time. PattiA (49) - Madison, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 21, 2006
The aroma is dominated by sweetness with a sharp, grapefruit-like citrus scent and maybe a hint of florals. Overall, it is a real enticing-looking beer. The aroma is a prelude for the taste. It is a very citrus-like flavor, with a sweetness dominated by the malt in the brew. There’s a little bit of grain and maybe some caramel flavor in there as well, but overall the citrus flavor dominated. Even the finish was sweet, with only a slight bitter kick from the hops. I usually don’t like carbonation and the level was very mild. This might account for the almost sweet finish to the beer. It had a medium body and went down smoothly. xproudfoot (750) - Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 2, 2006
Bottle. Grapefruit sweet and light hop aroma. Golden orange body with a nice froth head. Very citrusy, light bodied, mildly sweet, a very mild pale ale (not particularly bitter, my girlfriend, who hates most pale ales, even liked it). Not too full by my preferences for APA, but this would be a wonderful summer beer. Falconseye8 (542) - Evans, Colorado, USA - OCT 27, 2005
Solid Pale Ale. Golden color, nice hop/malt mix, smooth and drinkable. Good amount of grapefruit flavoring. Very enjoyable beer. Look forward to trying more of this brand. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 7, 2005
Bottle: Translucent golden, huge white frothy head, lattice like lacing, light carbonation.   Nose of mash, as in mash tun, slight tea or tobacco.   Grainy malt flavor, mash tun like but not as sharp as the nose.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Sweet finish.   Would like to see it more hopped up, but its not bad.
