Bottle at home. Nose was grass and citrus with a light caramel malt. Flavors were similar. The hops seemed faded out. I may have had an older bottle but I couldn’t locate a date. Overall it was decent it just seemed...boring. Not sure. Gonna give it another try in the future and re-rate. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2014
12oz bottle. Thanks Lehr! Pours into a red cup like liquid. Delicious liquid. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Late dry finish. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JUN 19, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice ruddy looking amber to brown color. There’s a nice looking one finger white foamy head that dies within less than a minute.
There’s not much lacing at all.
The smell had a nice toasted caramel malts to it and shows a decent bitter citrus hoppiness in the background.
The taste was mainly sweet but still had a light bitterness helping to balance it.
On the palate, this one sat at/about a medium in body. It was somewhat sessionable and had a decent carbonation running over my mouth and tongue.
Overall, I say this was a good Amber ale worthy of having again. gururyan (727) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Very malty, too much so, with a sweetness that doesn't pair well. It's too simple, like that damned car stereo you had that didn't even have the basic bass and treble knobs...but a single tone knob instead. Yeah, it's like that.

Nice tasting Ale with a bit of a floral bite at the very end of your sip. Would be better with more alcohol in it. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2014
[Bottle] Reddish amber color with a soapy white head. Nose is of caramel malts and a decent amount of floral hops. Sweet fruits, caramel, dusty grains, toasted bread and light astringency in the taste. Smooth and sticky mouthfeel. A nice beer for the style. Tasting notes from early 2012. The color is a clear copper with a medium off-white head, and the aroma blends caramel and toasted malts with floral hops. The taste is slightly sour, slightly sweet, and mildly bitter, and the mouthfeel has a medium-light body, slick texture, average carbonation, and a slightly bitter finish. rondphoto (4448) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAY 10, 2014
@ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear dark amber with a long-lasting 1" off-white head, wide bands of lace. Taste is caramel malt that is immediately balanced by mild hops and carbonation. Unpretentious brew, but quite drinkable with enough taste to satisfy. Fatehunter (2567) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Pours two fingers of head on a clear dark straw colored body.
The aroma is rich caramel and malt. Nice.
The taste is lots of caramel sweetness balanced out by mild lemon bitterness. Good profile.
The texture is smooth with lower carbonation.
Excellent balance and drinkability.
