Pure Oregon honey and fresh ginger make this exquisite golden mead. The Ginger Session Mead is defined by a sting of warmth, a tease of sweet and a dry finish. Refreshing. Every time.

From tap at ADT. Clear yellow-gold, no head. Nice spicy nose. Flavors are light honey followed by a healthy ginger kick and lingering warmth on the dry finish. Unusual and good, ginger fans will love it, others probably not so much.

Draft. Pours gold with a thin white head. Sharp ginger, light honey sweetness, and a relatively balanced finish, with milder ginger and lighter sweetness. Solid.

[24/12/15] Bottle from Clackamas Town Center: Golden body with no head whatsoever. Nose is sweet, floral, ginger in there too. Taste is sweet, spices and ginger again. Smooth in the finish. Too much for me.

Nearly clear gold. Really light body. Lots of ginger. Flat. Sweet. 6% is session?

Draught at Beveridge Place Pub
Pale color. The aroma is very floral, with a hint of ginger. Light body, lightly sweet, not much mead flavor, with a hot touch and light ginger. Lightly hot in the final, the final is also weak.
Drinkable, but it’s a fake mead.

Cool to see more mead on the shelves in Minnesota. Pours a super light yellow. Medium carbonation. Awesome nose on this one: wildflowers, honey and a hint of ginger. Honey and ginger in the taste. Very dry, walking a line towards astringent without getting there.

On tap at Beveridge Place Pub, pours a clear pale blonde with no head. Aroma reveals a good mix of ginger and lightly sweet honey. Flavour is very low on the sweetness, but still brings out considerable honey character and a big wallop of ginger root. Bone dry finish, with lots of ginger. Solid enough session mead, but could use some more dynamics. Good.

deyholla (12439) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2015
Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a clear hydrated pee with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a lot of wild flower, with sweet honey and a touch of ginger. Flavor has a light ginger bite with notes of wildflower and sweet honey.

Fatehunter (2623) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - SEP 6, 2015
Pours no head on a clear lightest straw body.
The aroma is ginger and flowers. Nice and light.
The taste is ginger, a touch of honey sweet, and a short dry finish.
The texture is crisp with a little fizz.
It’s an easy drinking mead.

A color like water; I’ve preferred some meads that are a bit more like an aged honey color. Menthol nose, ginger coming out in the flavor. Flattish palate. (at 2015 Summer Beer Dabbler, St. Paul, MN)
