COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Wildflower Session Mead captures the essence of the Willamette Valley and the complexity of honey. Aromas and flavors of ripe fruit and fresh honeycomb ignite the senses in every sip. Indulge in one of the greatest gifts our fertile valley has to offer.

[24/12/15] Bottle from Clackamas Town Center: Clear gold body. Nose is floral, fruits. Taste is also floral, with bitter elements. Sticky texture. Smooth in the finish.

I like a more robust Mead, and this one was farther towards the light side. Good flavors though, and still pretty strong for a "session" drink.

Syrupy yellow. Floral, honey, vanilla notes. Full smooth body. Sweet. Nice.

Tap at the Watershed.

Clear pour, reasonably dry, thin, some herbal spices, faint hints of something almost gin-like. (I know nothing about meads, let alone "dry session meads"). Not actually a whole heck of a lot going on here and definitely not all that inspiring, I’m afraid.

Pours a clear still yellow from the bottle. Aroma of slight flower over honey sweetness. Taste is more toward the day side, but not over the top. Not bad.

A good mead balances sweetness, alcohol burn, and drinkability. This mead completely axed the first two. Very pale yellow, a faint honey aroma, and very little else stood out when I poured it into a pint glass. There is a slight floral honey taste upfront, but it almost immediately disappears. It tastes like someone watered it down with seltzer. You could almost mistake it for flavored water. Not a good mead or even a good beverage.

Bottle - Sweet honey and floral notes. Pale gold. Sweet, honey light, flowery and watery. Very light and easy drinking.

Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a clear pale yellow with a slight green hue and a hint of a bubbly head. Flavor has lots of honey with a bit of dryness and a touch of plastic. Flavor has sweet honey and a dry finish that comes off a bit of a plastic.

3.2

Clear water appearance. Flavors like vanilla, chocolate, sweet vermouth, fruitiness. Interesting, curious, but meh. (at 2015 Summer Beer Dabbler, St. Paul, MN)
