Part of the Nurnberg Beer Raid 2011. On tap at the 14.Fränkisches Bierfest in Nurnberg, Germany. Hazy gold color with a full and very rocky white head. Fruity, has the same taste and feel as a Paulaner. The palate however assualts you with lots of smooth banana flavors. Not too sweet and very well done. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 7, 2008
Hazy golden with a huge, nice, creamy and very lasting head. The aroma has a light sweetness, notes of clove, wheat and banana. The flavour has sweetness and notes of clove, banana and wheat. It’s very harmonic and nice – just like I prefer a weiss to be... jfb (6575) - GERMANY - SEP 22, 2010

Draft at Kellerwald, Forchheim, in Aug, 2014: Hazy golden peach. Creamy, pasty, uniform white head. Bright airy phenols comprise the nose along with sugar cookie, honeysuckle, candied pineapple, dried papaya and banana cream pie. Fluffy, soft, well-packed carbonation. Initially crisp and brisk with a plasticlike phenolic vivacity. Plenty of contrasting softness abounds at the same time, as the malts unfold with starchier hay dimensions and caress the crisper pastry-rich sugars and vanilla wafer cookie notes. Understated banana cream pie vibrancy further enhances the body’s texture as it exudes amid elegant flower nectar and a burst of pineapple juiciness. Dab of bubblegum pokes through but is well-integrated. Faintest hint of tartness sneaks in and rather than providing some quenching "lift", it instead produces some astringency which somewhat hinders the strikingly soft and complex malt. Delicately sweet and bright flower nectar precedes a gentle cookielike sweetness and touch of toast in the well balanced finish. A pleasant weizen with characterful yeastiness, nice balance, and refined malt as its strong points. Leighton (22084) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2015
Bottle shared at the brewery during the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours cloudy gold with a big, white foam head. Good one, if a little basic. Some citrus fruit accents, prominent sugary wheat, a little yeast expression. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Further sugary wheat in the finish, a hint of white bread. Nice and drinkable.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden with a big and persistent, slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, moderately sweet and slightly acidic wheat aroma with vanilla and restrained banana-fruity notes. Medium-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation (for a Hefeweizen). Wheat-malty taste with a distinctive vanilla accent and a rather shy fruitiness, not to speak of raw phenols. Mellow malty, minimal-fruity finish with vanilla and a balanced sourness. Being definitely not a Weizen lover, I appreciate this rather uncommon Hefeweizen. rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 28, 2014

Hazy orange-gold with a tall head. Fruity-gummi nose, nice wheat expression, relatively mild phenols for weissbier, and low banana ester as well, which is appreciated. Minerally / airy notes. Creamy semi-sweet approach, then effervescent / fizzy and tart in the back. Chewy wheat, fruity orange / apricot. Nice body, some heft / thickness from the wheat livened by strong carbonation. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2011

50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 20.10.11
Flourish aroma, some banana. Palate is a bit thin for a weissbier. Flavour has banana and it is a bit flourish too. Not too sweet like weissbiers tend to be. A good one, but a bit too thin.
