500 ml bottle. Golden body with a diminishing white head. Both aroma and flavor is vanished by butterscotch and caramel. This is a shame, I see the ratings are a lot better for this one. jonas (8278) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - JAN 27, 2010
Bottle. Cloudy orage, golden foam, lively carbonation. Fresh orangepeel and mineral aroma. Fruity base, slightly rusty hoppy and salty notes, fits the rustic character well. Orangepeel finish. Chewy body, mellow mouthfeel. Kellerbier as it should be. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 6, 2009
Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). A bit hazy amber colour with mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is strong butterscotch/diacetyl along with some malts and mild spices. Flavour is diacetyl, some caramel malts along with some grassy and floral hoppy notes. Also some herbs and mild sour fruity notes. One of the strongest diacetyl beers I’ve had from Germany. faroeviking (11331) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - SEP 16, 2009
