500ml Bottle - Dark brown with orangey red tinges. Dried fruit and some hints of liquorice and berries in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with some roasted notes combining well with some fruity and slightly sweet notes including raisins, blackcurrant and liquorice.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, even a touch roasted. Taste is the same, rather sweet. Silky mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Too sweet for me.

Bottle shared on the train during the Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours clear amber with a foamy, off-white head. Sugary stuff, with toasty brown bread, light earth and leathery berries. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet on the finish, with notes of brown sugar, dry toasted bread, some fruit leather. Very good stuff.

Dark, Cola-like color. Medium stable head. Aroma is slight roasted malt and caramel. Starts sweet with a hint of liquorice and gets more bitter with notes of roasted malt and coffee towards the end. Taste is more complex than aroma. Medium palate that fits the taste. Good one.
