Great color. I’d say more of a walnut or mahogany color than amber. Nice but thin cream head. Crisp and nice on the palate, but still smooth and smokey. Tastes smokey and a bit of both caramel and ceral flavors. Light bitter aftertaste and faintly metallic. Always a good beer for any occasion.

Dark amber colour with thin off white head. Carmel malt nose. Mild carmel malt taste with tangy carbonated finish.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2008 Bland dark lager. It’s a Corona product so what can you expect? Unnatural and poorly made. Some darker malts that focus on sweetness as well as the usual junk added. Ug.

I liked this beer alot. The only thing I didnt like is having to go through all the fancy foil to get the bottle open. Smooth and refreshing.

(bottle) Poured dark amber without much head. Nice first taste, but falls somewhat flat. A good little beer with tex mex.

Bottled. A dark amber flat looking beer with a sweet raisin fruit aroma. The taste is also quite sweet and relatively fruity but there’s no real depth of character. Remind me slightly of Nookie Brown as do a fair few beers of this style. Drinkable but slightly dull.

Dark larger colour with hint of toffee. Heavy nose, quite sweet. Sweet soft palate, friendly, yet devoid of any real malt of hop character. Nice enough but hard to get excited.

Pour is a dark brown with a white head. No real aroma to find. Flavor is slighty malty and bready. Nothing really over powers but at the same time nothing offends. Prob one of the better Mexican beers available.

12 oz bottle, albeit a strange shape bottle. This is my favorite Mexican beer. It’s still light in body, aroma and taste, but tasty enough to pique my interest. Goes great with Tex-Mex cuisine.
