Poured into a wide flute glass. Dark copper color with a tight inch and half of head. Looks nice. Smells malty but there is a hint of corn... which does not help. It would be great without that bit of corn. Watery taste at first, then malty (every so slightly roasted malt), finishes with a mild hop presence. Nothing too impressive. Light and crisp in the mouth. Low carbonation. Easy to drink. Overall for a dunkel lager it lacks the malt body, however for an easy drinking lager it is nice.

Bottle - Pours an amber brown, with white head. Aroma of toffee, fermented breads, malt, some fruit. Flavors of toffee, caramel. A malty Vienna. Mild hops, typical amber lager.

Once my favorite Mexican beer, I still drink Negra occasionally. Poured from a squatty 12 oz. bottle it gives a dark amber along with a thin light tan foam. It has a smell of grain. It tastes of a metallic maltiness, biscuit and a very slight caramel sweetness at the end. It benefits greatly from an added slice of lime. Add it, drink it, be happy.

Helder bruin bier zonder schuim. Smaak stelt weinig voor, licht rook en karamel, licht zoet. Niet echt bijzonder maar ook niet echt slecht.

Aroma: Karamell, brødskorpe. Svak humle. Noe dms? Medium-lett kropp, klart ravfarget øl. Prikk likt Dahls ingefærøl, kanskje noe mørkere. Skumtopp som døde fort. Skylder på glasset for det. Noe maltsmak, velbalansert bitterhet uten aromahumler. Noe brentsmak, kanskje noe ristet malt? Lettdrikkelig, men noe kjedelig. Veldig greit øl til mat.

Bottle @ From Thomas Gift Basket. Pours amber alomost ruby with an off white head. Aroma thick caramel, light dried fruits, light nutty, quite fruity, touch of paper. Taste is rather sweet with loads of dried/dark fruitts, caramel, Light bitter finish. Not really my thing.
