12 oz. can from The Beer Store. Poured into a snifter. Pours a dark "cola" like reddish brown with a minimal beige head. Modest chocolate and oatmeal aroma. Light sweetness with the same modest chocolate and oatmeal on the flavor. Some dark fruit notes. Medium bodied and smooth on the tongue. Nice beer. angoradad (47) - USA - FEB 9, 2018
Really tasty beer. Has a great look, dark and foreboding. Rich, malty flavor to spare. Nice bite at the end, too. Great New Hampshire beer that makes me think the Granite State is catching up on Maine. GregMooreNH (490) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 3, 2018
Pours very dark mahogany with medium head. Heavy chocolate aroma, with oatmeal and dried fruit. Taste is plum and toffee to start, opening to a bready flavor with a hint of clove. Finish is very smooth. An excellent take on a schwartzbier. shawnmurphy (738) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - MAY 3, 2017

Tap at Whole Foods Bedford
Solid dark brown with a decent sized bubbly off white head that dissipates rather quickly. Big chocolate on the nose with some toasty bready malt in there as well. Holy hell that is tasty, Big toasty bready melanoid with lots of chocolate and dark dried fruits. Creamy smooth silky mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this one.

On tap at the Thirsty Moose in Portsmouth with Patty. Nice deep dark pour with small tan head, but good lace. Aromas of sweet malt and chocolate. Medium body. Sweet chocolate flavor bounds out of this great beer that I almost took for a stout. Enjoyable. thepatrickman (1503) - Lewes, East Sussex, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2016
On tap at RiRa, Portsmouth. A dark lager with lots of caramel sweetness, roasted character, and spicy hops. It was slightly sweeter than I was expecting, but it was still pretty complex with a moderately-full mouthfeel. This was the first beer I’ve had from Neighborhood, and I’ve got to say that I’m impressed.
