COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The proud piece of our brewery! Lightly amber coloured beer of 8,3% alc.vol. At the tasting of the first brewery, a beer expert noticed: "This is an amazing pint!" (In Atwerpener dialect: "Das een bangelijk goei pint!"). And so the name was found.

On draught @ t Pakhuis. Clear orange, minimal white head. Sweet fruity smell. Also yeast. Sweet taste, banana ester, some acidity. Body rather watery for this ABV. Rather dry, medium to high CO2. Decent, worth trying

The beer is a hazy orange color with a white head. Candied orange sweetness along with a hint of pineapple and some brown sugar. A light white pepper spice note. Perhaps some banana, too. The taste is quite sweet and sugary. Some mild citrus juice, candied orange peel, mild banana, and some pineapple. There is a definite alcohol note to it, particularly as it warms.

Poured at home (Dec 11) from a large bottle (looked like a 750ml, but sure label said 1 litre?) into a tulip. Amber to orange/dark blond in colour with a big head of white foam, 2 fingers, which largely retained its presence througout drinking. Smelt of spice, hops, yeast. Not to sweet and a little hint of sour flavour to it. A good range of spices thrown in, cloves and cinnamon for sure! Good mouthfeel, nice and smooth on the palate.

On draft at the brewery. Cloudy, golden body with a thick white head. Lightly fruity nose with some pepper and yeast. Alcohol aroma borders on fusel. Sweet, strawberry-ish flavor with a little vanilla and stronger alcohol. Light citrus peel. Medium body and fairly sweet with mild bitterness. Moderate carbonation. Sweet finish with some lingering alcohol. A decent little beer!

On draught at Huisbrouwerij tPakhuis in Antwerp. Pours a cloudy blonde colour with a thick white head. Hoppy aroma with alcohol quite present. Aroma also of sweet candy sugar, higher alcohols, treacle and caramel. Quite fruity with flavours of caramel, cheesecake, white chocolate and candy sugar. Nice and chewy with mild carbonation and a long alcohol and pepper linger. Grassy hops also. Nicely warming and a little bitter but I prefer the blond and bruin.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear one, golden in color and with a finger-thick white head. Fruity, sugary and a bit alcoholic on the nose. Hints of blackcurrant and redcurrant. Some pale malts. The flavor has a bit too much white sugar and alcohol. Pale malts as well. Medium body. A decent one, but too sweet and warming. 110429
