Hand pull at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg, unpastorized kegyespr (45869) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 24, 2013
Black color with brown compact head. Mild aroma of roasted malt, cream, bread, light leather; this kind of roastiness is delicate and very nice. Very smooth mouthfeel; the body is leaner than expected; good flavor of roasted malt and dark chocolate, some dark caramel, with light sourness from said malts and very light smoke trace; a hint of liquorice in the final; correct bitterness, the final seems drier.
Smooth, somehow original, balanced and well brewed, but way too expensive (75kr for half pint).
From tap at Bishops Arms. Pours pitch black with a small tan and camy head. Aroma is fruity and dark roasted malty. Chocolate. Sweet malty, chocolate and caramelish, light bitter and miæd fruity into a dark malty finish. kazin (590) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 11, 2013
Pitch black appearance with a small but compact foam head. Sweet malty flavors, with an aftertaste of salmiak/licorice. Thick palate, but not as thick as when it was homebrewn. Has gotten a little worse since the homebrew version actually..
