COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our search for a location to start this brewery took us across much of Lower Bucks County, many times traveling down the well known divider between northern Philadelphia, southern Bucks, and Montgomery Counties….County Line Road. One of the original names we thought of for the brewery was that of County Line Brewing Company. I don’t know how or why we didn’t settle on that, but in recognition of our location so close to Philadelphia and that potential namesake, we decided to pass the name on to our flagship IPA that comes in at 6.63% ABV and is chock full of Warrior, Chinook, Simcoe, and Zythos hops. It’s got a bready, slightly cracker-like malt backbone to counter some of that hop bitterness, but not so much that this four hop combination won’t put a smile on your face (or a giant pucker). It’s got a huge citrus-grapefruit note with a nice lingering hop bitterness showing a complexity that few hugely hop forward IPAs lack.

Pours light golden and somewhat hazy with an aroma of citrus. Tastes of exceptionally bitter pine. It's dry and bitter. It's light bodied with moderate carbonation. Wow, bitter.

Tasting at Barley Creek. An exquisite, fragrant, balanced, flavorful IPA with loads of pine and citrus. Dry, well attenuated finish.

Can. Nice aroma of pine hops. Well balanced with a good taste if malts and hops.

Nice slightly hazy orange hued appearance, with a strong citrus and piney aroma. It’s got a heavy hop bitterness that may turn some off. Lots and lots of grapefruit and pine. Lightly malty at the back end with plenty of lingering bitterness.

My favorite IPA! Love the slight citrus taste and hoppy classic base. It’s awesome in winter by fire in tall glass or in the summer on the beach out of the can. It feels lighter than it is, surprising that it’s as strong as it is. My husband requested our local liquor keep this in stock and now they keep it refrigerated.

I don’t know, this beer is fine. It’s kinda resiny and sticky and reasonably okay but nothing memorable.

Pours slightly hazy gold. Fluffy white head. Nose is faint hops. Taste is malt, tropical hops, nothing crazy but yummy. A good go to ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can gifted from a friend. Pours a clean medium golden color with a finger of whitish foam. Nose is subtle with a bit of stale malt, pine and booze. Palate is way bitter, abrasive eraser notes scrape the palate of any glimpses of citrus and grapefruit leaving my palate fatigued and uninspired.
