3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured into tulip a hazy copper with white head and good lace. While the commercial description said citrus, grapefruit as did many other reviews here I got a pine aroma and taste. Crisp pine air over a resin. Enjoyed
Pours a clear golden brown from the can with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of piney and citrus hops with a caramel malt base. Taste follows, old school with pronounced bitterness and caramel malt to back the old school hops. Decent for what it is. Larry_Duffman (598) - - OCT 28, 2017
I poured it from the can into a glass. It pours orange and amber with a white head and lacing. The aroma is bitter hops and citrus. The taste is bitter, earthy hops, grapefruit, and cracker. It's very bitter. It fades into a salty dryness. This has lots of hoppy flavor and aroma. This is solid. beern (195) - Alabama, USA - OCT 6, 2017
Pours light golden and somewhat hazy with an aroma of citrus. Tastes of exceptionally bitter pine. It's dry and bitter. It's light bodied with moderate carbonation. Wow, bitter. scarletfire65 (1505) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 18, 2017
Tasting at Barley Creek. An exquisite, fragrant, balanced, flavorful IPA with loads of pine and citrus. Dry, well attenuated finish. Nejhleader (1574) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 3, 2017
Can. Nice aroma of pine hops. Well balanced with a good taste if malts and hops.

Nice slightly hazy orange hued appearance, with a strong citrus and piney aroma. It’s got a heavy hop bitterness that may turn some off. Lots and lots of grapefruit and pine. Lightly malty at the back end with plenty of lingering bitterness. emmyrunr (1) - - JAN 29, 2017 does not count
My favorite IPA! Love the slight citrus taste and hoppy classic base. It’s awesome in winter by fire in tall glass or in the summer on the beach out of the can. It feels lighter than it is, surprising that it’s as strong as it is. My husband requested our local liquor keep this in stock and now they keep it refrigerated. From a 12 oz. can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of grapefruit, orange and pineapple. Bitter finish. brianprentiss (703) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 26, 2016
I don’t know, this beer is fine. It’s kinda resiny and sticky and reasonably okay but nothing memorable.
