“Can I scream….” for more hops? You sure can. Two row American barley jammed packed with as much Apollo, Newport, Simcoe, Topaz, and Citra hops we could get our hands on, The Shape of Hops to Come is an 8.5% ABV American-styled imperial IPA that’s got a ton of bitterness, along with juicy, dank resiny pine-like, and citrus forward hop character that is worthy of it’s name. Dry hopped for two weeks this hop bomb has as much hop power we can muster!

From my father: pours clear copper with a white head. Aroma is pine and plenty grapefruit. Taste is somewhat bitter, actually pretty bitter with a lingering aftertaste. Pretty good.

Pours orange-golden and mostly translucent with an aroma of citrus and a hint of pine. Tastes of pine and citrus with significant lingering bitterness. It’s full bodied with moderate to lively carbonation. It’s full, like eating a bitter loaf of bread with an alcohol finish. Wow. It’s a sipper.

ganache (6137) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 19, 2017
Pint can. Nose pine, dough, lesser citrus; pour cloudy orange golden, a little dirty, with a soapy beige head. Taste strongly bitter, strongly hops and raw, medium sweetness with straightforward malt (with a touch of flab), salty/astringent notes come out in the smooth finish and linger. Pine strongest with alcohol, resin, grit; citrus is low but lots of earth and some mild toast/scorch, some nuggety-resin that isn't really. Full body, fresh but really is flabby and cluttered. UPDATED: SEP 15, 2017 Great IPA. One of the best you will ever have. I live near the brewery and always have this when I visit. They really knocked it out if the park with this one. It's an Imperial IPA you will love if you're an IPA person.

Very hoppy, bitter middle with a malty finish. I got notes of citrus but very heavy bitter hops. Very satisfying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pounder can. Warm aroma of spice, caramel, hop, mint and funk. Strong pine hop flavor, mint, caramel, booze and spice. Well done and clean. Very bitter in the end.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2017 Imperial without overpowering. Great balance act hop varietals, body vs bitterness. Sort of an update west coast Double. Worth drinking more than once if if you are welcoming of the high ABB. Pair with crystalline cheddar like Cabot cloth bound.
