Gravity cask at the Gladstone Arms, Combs Ford, Stowmarket. Tawny, flat and clear. Light aroma of toffee, orange peel, spice, forest floor. Sweet malty taste but there’s a tasty savouriness. Short to medium finish but toffee apple notes linger. Oily body. Not at all bad. imdownthepub (15518) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2012
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Orange amber with no head. There are toffee, butterscotch, diacetyl hints in this but actually the beer comes through with quite a pleasant light hop note, fuggles type, English so there is a decent finish. A game of 2 halves I reckon. downender (9003) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2012
Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 12/8/2012. Amber with a tight, off-white head. Light citrus fruit and hay aroma. Sweetish malt flavours, with some more orange fruit and moderately bitter finish. Ok. sm89walt (2082) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 3, 2010
Cask - The Kings Head, Norwich. Going against the grain here somewhat. Poured a clear light amber with a lasting, foamy off-whtie head. Orange and some bitter citric hop aromas. Lovely grapefruit sweetness and tangerine with a moderately lasting grassy, citric bitterness. Soft palate, some fizz, light to medium body with an OK length finish. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2010

Light unclear medium orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, flowers, toffee. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Cask at Baker Street, W’Spoons, London. An amber coloured pour with an off white head. Malty aroma. Tastes fruity, citrus, little sour too. Not a good beer in my opinion. Too many like this in England unfortunately. RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2010
Cask, Griffin, Carlisle. A typically apple/grassy tasting Nethergate brew. Amber coloured with a sweet aftertaste. Not bad, but nothing special and a pretty ordinary beer overall. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 11, 2010

And Staff, London. Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wood, herbs, mild fruityness as well as some slight floral notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, some herbs and rather grassy. Nicely balanced, but not very exciting.
A Mes rate. Cask at Baker St ’Sporks. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2008
Clean orange gold with a thin off white head and lace. Strange and unexpected chocolate and ginger notes in the aroma. Wholemeal and grainy flavour. Pretty awful to be honest. Once the bread has settled down the are some faintcitric notes in the finish but it’s not enough to save it. ARSE!
Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A light amber coloured beer with an off white head. The aroma is malty and there are hay notes. The taste has a hint of fruit but is very plain and a bit dull to be truthful.
