Cask - The Glass House (JDW), Norwich. Poured with a large, dense light tan head that lasted and laced. Roasted malt aromas, dried fruits and some coffee on the aroma. More roasted, malt, some coffee again, plenty of dark & dried fruits with a dry, roasted malt/hop bitterness on the finish. Medium body, mostly soft in the mouth with a creamy, lingering finish. UPDATED: AUG 15, 2013 cask @ The King’s Arms. Uppnor Castle. Kent) A strange choice on tap in late june -but it was rather cold of course -thus this winter/summer warmer was fucken fine with me. Its a smoky deep brown colour, kinda beautiful but the head was too subtle for me. I wouldn’t say this beer had too much finesse really , it relies on rich tofee and chocolate vibes -married with booze in a simple but nice paced ale. leaparsons (10496) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2009

Cask at the Regal (JDW), Cambridge. Ruby port in colour with a ring of cream head; blackcurant aroma; dry and spicy blackcurrant flavour with underlying chocolate malts, unfortunately rather too thin; dry finish. Interesting.
