The_Osprey (8682) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 11, 2017
Cask handpull at The Crosse Keys London as Nethergate Golden Gate , 4.5%. Pours more of a pale orange amber than gold, pretty clear, still with a minimal off white head. Aroma is fruited bread, apple and hot crossed bun. Mostly the latter. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is crumpet and white bread, touches of apple flesh but mostly bready. Crispbread finish with a soft lightly floral bitterness. It's quite a good beer overall. It won't impress you but it's a nicely judged and flavourful golden bitter. (6-4-6-4-13=3.3)

July 9th, 2015. Cask @ Chelmsford Ale Festival. Amber pour with a small head. Fairly soft nose. Honeyed white bread and a hint of summery fruit. Flavor’s fairly sweet. Some strawberry rhubarb filling. Honey malt. Medium body, OK.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Very honeyish malts. Nice balance of mild marmalade. Light semi dry finish. Very honey. Nice.

Cask at the Ealing beer fest. Aroma is pritty minimal, but floural honey is key. Taste is all about the honey pale malts and flourla bittering hop. The definition of a golden/blonde ale.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2008
A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Amber with no head. Sweet fruit, tobacco and wheat. Rather dull but the nice fruity finish with a hint of wheat just about sorts it.

harrisoni (19169) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2008
Cask handpull at Charles Dickens, London. Deep copper, thin beige head. Yeasty aroma. Some fruity malt and more yeast in mouth. Fine in mouth. Malts come through well. Yeast gives it character. Drying hop/malt/yeast balanced finish. A yeasty best bitter that ticks all the boxes. Bit of jellied orange there too. Fine.

Rune (13372) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 17, 2006
Amber body with a small white head. Good clarity. Slightly sweet malty aroma. Bitter fruitiness in taste. Well balanced, but a very ordinary brew (Hal pint on cask at The Lower Red Lion, St Albans 27.09.2006).

Finn (7916) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 15, 2006
Cask at The Lower Red Lion St Albans 27 Sep 2006. Dark golden coloured. A small lasting head. Faint aroma of caramel. Rather unvaried flavour but a sweet bitter lasting aftertaste.

DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2006
