Bottled from Copper, Gosforth. An abundance of fresh lemon in the aroma, leads to quite a full on bitter assault with the first mouthful. Very little sweetness given the addition of ginger. The lemon plus the hops pushes the bitterness just a touch too far for my liking. Enjoyable as a one off/something different, but would probably not go for another,
Cask. Without guidance I would not have spotted the ginger in the scent. For me it was funky and spicy like a curried burp. And I like my blondes blonde. This can pass for amber with a thin lace top. Fortunately after an unalluring start it settles well in the palate so that the finish is far better. Not sure if it would sell under the name lemon bottom but its nether regions are better than those closer to the gate. stravale (3055) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - OCT 16, 2016

Amber, soft haze, dense white head
Aroma of soft ginger, touch of lemon underneath, no malts, does what it says on the pump clip
Taste of lemon and ginger nut biscuits, quite sweet malt, tangy, lemon slightly metallic
Palate - Medium body, tangy bitter lemon, soft sweet ginger. Finish as main flavour, bitter tangy lemon, slightly harsh bitter
Overall - OK, gimmicky, slight metallic edge in finish spoils it a little
Backlog rating. Cask at JDW WIQ, London. It pours a clean golden color with a small white head. Aroma is malty and sweet with a crispy lemon peel and lemon juice note. Taste is also medium sweet and fruity with more biscuit and lemon notes. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, ok BeerViking (4710) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2016
Cask at the Angel JDW, light brown with a fine foam, malty nose with a hint of citrus, notes of toffee malt and lemon, with a refreshing earthy and citrus bitterness. Very quaffable. Mr_Pink_152 (4884) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2016
On tap at the three horseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with a shite head. Aroma certainly has ginger and citrus. Taste ginger and fruity.

Ciemnobursztynowy kolor, mętne.
Bardzo ładna biała piana tworząca niezliczone firanki na szkle.
W aromacie na pierwszy plan wysuwa się imbir. Zaraz za nim podąża cytrynowa rześkość. W smaku podobnie - mix cytrusów: limonki, cytryny i mocna nuta imbiru. Dość gęste i treściwe.
Całkiem ciekawy wynalazek.
Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of soapy lemon, a lot of ginger and some pale malt. Taste again of soapy lemon, ginger and some herbal, grassy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A lightly tangy, ginger finish. Quite drinkable and refreshing but it’s quite weak in terms of flavour. jjsint (3002) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2014
Cask @ Bedford Arms, Bedford. Golden amber. Still, almost no head. Hard to get past the ginger in the aroma. A bit of fruit but mostly ginger astringency. Spicy sweet ginger taste tempered by a sour bitter note that asserts itself more convincingly in the finish. Sour/bitter aftertaste. Weak but refreshing mouthfeel. Decent all in all, although I personally tend to dislike ginger beers I can appreciate its worth. Beersiveknown (5284) - NORTHERN IRELAND - NOV 10, 2013

Hazy burnished gold, white lacing. Spicy lemon peel. Shortcake and yeast esters. Another typical golden ale.
Tap at Maypole, Cambridge.
Dark golden color with small white head. Aroma of ginger, lemongrass, citrus zest, herbs. Fruity taste with floral notes, bready malt, spices, hops.
