Milky roast. Fairly solid, but the lacticity built up and detractoed from teh taste eventually. Pretty OK, I guess.
Cask conditioned, gravity dispense at The Lord Nelson Inn, Reedham, Norfolk. Reddy brown with white head. I had a big leafy tobacco note right away with this, then a sweetish chocolate, toffee flavour. Vanilla in the close, smooth but flawed. Christian (13605) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2009
Brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and dried fruit. Sweet malty flavour with toffee and a hint of roast character ManVsBeer (10265) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2013
