Sampled on draught at the John Baird, Muswell Hill. A dark brown colour with reddish tints. Foamy tan head but only soft carbonation. Aroma of fresh bread and milk chocolate. The taste is of dark fruit cake, with hints of brown sugar and mild liquorice. Lingering bitter finish. A good dark ale. Definitely not a porter. theprof (1299) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2016
