Cask at The Green Man, Stamford, Lincolnshire. Amber. Rough wet dog or tweed jacket malt. Hairy malt taste, a bit basic. Mid bitter finish. Not the best Nethergate beer.

Cask Conditioned Handpump Royal Oak Walgrave. A golden beer with a whitish head and lace. A husky cereal dominated beer. A thin leafy aroma with a touch if old fashioned fruit. OK but a bit boring.

Beese (2570) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2014
Cask at The Columbia Press (JDW), Watford. Poured a clear ruby, with a dense, off white head. Aroma of malt, dried fruit and cake. Light spice in the flavour, with some berries and brown bread. Finish was solid maltiness, with prunes and light, peppery hop.
