Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Dark brown looks with a small off-white head. Roasted malt and chocolate notes in the nose. Malt driven flavour with some slight fruity notes. Drinkable but a tad thin and underwhelming. prawlie (1676) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2013
On draught at the Green Dragon in Beverley. Black with a dark brown creamy head. Light roast, with a hint of raisin. Light chocolate malt aroma, with a hint of fruit. Palatable but lacks a little something. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2013
Cask conditioned handpump Coal Hole London 28/02/13. A dark ruby coloured beer with an off-white head. A fruity malty porter. Some chocolate and lightly roasted malts. The maltiness is good. Almost a Winter warmer rather than a porter. Bready flavours. Tasty. FatPhil (17080) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 29, 2013

Very dark and ruddy brown. Sparkler head. Coffee-like roast aroma. Smooth in the mouth, and not feeling so roasted. Full in the mouth. English hops and a bit of roast and touch of apple in the finish. Ends grainy. Slightly acidic burntness in the finish. Better as it warms and fills out. Unusually, only had by Anna.
Cask by handpump at Drum & Monkey, Glasgow - very dark red-brown, good bubbly beige head, sweet sherry aroma, very sweet malty flavour, easy to drink, nice
