Cask Handpump at the Pot Of Beer, Manchester 01/03/2003 Amber coloured with fruit and malt flavours. Slightly dry wheaty finish.

Cask. Light brown color with a low frothy head. A little toasted malt in the middle with some butter tones. Thin and weak with a very quick profile.

Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - FEB 19, 2004
Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Amber with an attractive cask-fresh head. Possibly the beer of the evening along with Hardy’s Kiss. Vanilla and caramel notes complement the deep colour and give and overall sense value. This beer feels big and well rounded in the mouth and is the real deal. Lovely drop.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London. I hope pixie smile means something nice ;) and you forgot the distruction by the band whose average age was between 85 and 90 :)Little layer of a head, dark brown color with red undertones. Light butterscotch taste, malty. Not very interesting.

The Wenlock The great ratebeer meet up for a lock in at The Lock. Yogi, Pivo and Spiesy. Everyone's a bit tired and weary, but Yogi and Spiesy are bouncing off the walls. This was the most challenging rate I've ever done. If Spiesy wasn't thrusting his Britney Spears "Slut" t-shirt in my face, or bowing at my feet, or grabbing the barmaids to kiss and fondle, then Yogi was babbling away with a pixie smile and an infectious enthusiasm, always diverting my attention from the beer in my glass. I managed to note that this had sweetish toffee flavours balanced with mild bitterness, and an old socks aroma, before giving in and surrendering to the moment.
