Flaske 0,5l delt med Rune. Mørkebrun på farge. Pent kremaktig skum.
500ml bottle shared with Finn at our social gathering on Midsummer Eve. Bubbly, beige head over a deep red-brown body. Malty aroma lightly roasted. Dry hops, grain and caramel malts in a flavour that ends up with a smooth bitter twist. The ale was, in fact, quite well paired with cured meats and porridge made with soured cream (Tromsø, 23.06.2009). cgarvieuk (26422) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 22, 2009
Bottle at home ... thanks to madmitch76 for this one ... copper ... off white bubbly head ... metalic caramel malt ... sweet fruit ... caramle and again metalic ... really not me. gunnfryd (15513) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 9, 2009
Bottle. Copper colour with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, hop. Flavour is caramel, malt, hop, fruit. Medium body. OK beer. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 28, 2009
Bottle. It pours a clear, copper body under a small off-white head. Bready, quite fruity nose. Mostly dried fruits like prunes. Something reminiscent of oxidation, and a hint of toffee as well. The flavor is on the malty side, with bread and toffee, some oxidation, a hint of hazelnuts, some fruity hops and a little bitterness. Bready, bitter finish. Medium body. Far from impressing, and rather boring too. (090422)

Lovely ruby beer. Full maltiness, some cereals. Bubdued red fruit and berries. Some bitterness in the tail. OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 16, 2008
500 ml bottle. Thin offwhite head with big bubbles. Clear reddish brown color. Fairly sweet caramel aroma with fruity and mineralic notes. A whiff of dusty/hayish hops. Taste is light sweet, has a modest malt base, with some earthy bittering hops and a note of plummy fruitiness and cellar. Sourish, quite watered down mouthfeel. Short, mild bitter ending.
