I could care less about the organic stamp of approval. All those beers try to give the impression that they are somehow healthier for us than others. Crap I Say. Most better beers found at better beer bars are made of all natural ingredients anyways.
Enjoyed at Cock & Bull , This brew reminds me of an unfilted keller or zwiklebier. Very earthy, slightly musty, like mushrooms & a splash of lemmongrass. Wonderflly light & unassuming. nice to quaff with seared scallops. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - APR 30, 2008
clean clear gold, white frothy 2 finger head. sweet eurolager aroma, corn syrup comes to mind. certainly better than nearly every light beer, but at 130 calories and 8 carbs, this is on the heavier side of light. sweet, but not cloying and one dimensional. what are ya gonna do? it has some body and doesn’t suck. how’s that for a great review? well....it doesn’t SUCK.....so it has that going for it......, blipp (9172) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 31, 2009
Bottle. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Clean grainy aroma with a hint of hops. The flavor is quite light, with straw and maybe a bit of hops. Not awful. zach8270 (4022) - Henrietta, New York, USA - OCT 26, 2009
(bottle - 330 ml) Clear gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is grainy, malty, and sweet. Flavor is lightly sweet at the beginning with some dry malts, corn, and bitter grassy hops in the middle. Finishes with a mildly fruity hint and a lightly bitter aftertaste. joet (2604) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - JUN 9, 2008
All malt aroma with a touch of grape nuts, not much for hops. lightly sweet, medium effervescence and a light medium body. white lacing foam atop a golden body. No off flavors.

Surprised at only 10 ratings for this one. Aroma of corn and grain. Not very appetizing. Flavor was not very good, but actually much better than expected. Nothing overtly bad about it. All malt, with corn and bread predominating. Not much hopping at all. Probably better than most for the style and definitely a step up from High Life. bhensonb (15094) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 4, 2008
Bottle from BevMo. Golden color with a frothy white head. Grainy aroma backed by grassy hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is pale malt with some citrus. Finish is slightly herby, but fairly dry. A pretty decent light lager. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - FEB 8, 2009
330ml bottle. Golden color, thin white head. Light aroma of chicken coop. Flavor of straw. Light malt, mild hop bitterness. Well balanced. Easy to swallow... just not convincingly enjoyable. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 3, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2009 The aroma is malty with cereal grains, paper, and herbal hops. There is only a trace amount of hops. The appearance is deep gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma and not the least bit offensive, just not that good. The palate is thin. Overall it’s a light beer without a lot to offer but not bad. Bottle. Pours golden body with a white head. Malty grainy a light fruit note, rather dull and thin. Not for me.
