Nothing special here but nothing wrong either. Has a a straw yellow pour w/ a good white head that leaves a little lacing. The aroma is straight skunk but in a decent way. The taste is actually clean & crisp & not all that bad for a pilsner. Easy drinking & rather nice on this summer evening! Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate grass/hay, pilsner malt, some faint skunkiness, and dust. It pours a transparent light gold with a large creamy white head that has great retention and leaves a lot of soapy lacing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with with a quick dose of light sweetness. The finish has moderate grassy bitterness and light cracker. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. 500 ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.
Looks: Clear light golden honey colour; One and a half finger head and crumpet white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Moderate sticky lacing and fizzy carbonation.
Aroma: Fragrant Pilsener malt, with honey, floral, light orange, strong bread, dough, very light lemon and light grass.
Taste: Mid to light sweet full malt, with honey, molasses, flower pedals, thick bread, dough, yeast, lemon, astringent bitter hops and grass.
Body: Close to light. Slick palate.
Mouth Feel: Refreshing and dynamically hoppy German Pils. Very malty, taste and smell nice in a moderate body. Well-tuned sweetness of honey, molasses with neat floral favours. Tasty thick white bread and dough. Nice meal in a mug!
Hoppiness: Nice light orange, floral nectar, lemon and light grass nose. Light lemon, petals, hops and light grass in taste. Bitterness is moderate and dynamic, stretching it out for nice astringent taste as time went by for a long lasting light bitter finish.
After Taste: Fairly dry; Hoppy and light sweet to mouth.
Comments: I am glad I picked this one for my #700 review - It’s Pils-hoppy but in a light, tasty, aromatic and seductive fashion. Coupled with thick malts and great-tasting and well-defined floral sweetness, this is a treat well worth sessioning. Lovely Pils!

Wer hätte das gedacht? Ein biobier in form eines feinhopfigen Ale ? Hopfig mit Etwas Mais, dazu etwas Butter und Getreide. Stellenweise suse, aber jederzeit voller Aromen und Klasse. Super. McTapps (6941) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2014
Pils pours out of the bottle in a clear golden colour with low steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste of intense and fresh hops, citrus, grass, oranges, herbs and spruce. Very well-balanced and intense hoppiness combined with a tasty freshness. Surprisingly nice and tasty Pils.
