bread, hay, cereal, citrus, golden, clear, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, slick feel, average carbonation, doboy (424) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - APR 10, 2013
Pours a hazy yellow with good carbonation. Aroma is of a European pilsner, nice! Taste is a mix of hops and malt, with good hop bittering on the back side. Nice mouth feel. KeefOz (1875) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - APR 6, 2013
UPDATED: APR 7, 2013 500ml bottle, Wurtzburg, Germany. Poured a clear light golden straw colour with a thin bubble head that laced OK. Moderate to high carbonation with many small bubbles forming trails. Aromas of sweet malt and herbal hops. Taste of slight malt sweetness followed by low bitterness hops. Light body. Typical but a bit ordinary. jkbier (71) - Hamburg, GERMANY - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear and golden with a stable off-white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Tastes malty, then a bit like fruit and then comes a little bitterness. Medium carbonation. All in all a very decent southern German Pils. BeerZack (288) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Pale golden straw color with a frothy looking head that pours an initial 2 fingers high. Smells of lightly spicy and clean grassy hops with soda-cracker-like pils malt undertone. Taste is more balanced that I would have guessed from the nose. The initial bitterness from the hops is almost immediately supported by a soft biscuity malt that smooths the bitter edge into a dry crispness. Has one of those dry but quenching finishes that makes me want to take another drink immediately after the last drink.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of pale malt, flowers, light hops, a hint of sugar and a nice fruity and citrus smell. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal malts with a little hoppiness, some light sugars, a bit of spice and a dry finish. Aftertaste shows mostly malt, but a nice balance of lighter hops and some citrus. Overall, a very nice beer with a great mild flavour, but still showing some fresh flavours - all without bitterness. I sampled this stubby (german style) 33 cL bottle purchased from Old Europe restaurant in Washington, DC for US$6.00 today on 23-March-2013. drowland (8888) - Georgia, USA - MAR 19, 2013
11/10/10. 12oz bottle labeled "Lammsbrau Organic Pilsner." Sweet citrusy and big skunky aroma. Sweet grainy pilsner malt flavor with tons of grass and hay... meh. bartlebier (4084) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JAN 27, 2013
50cl bottles, repeatedly: The allround "Allnatura" organic/green/eco pilsner in the SW (Stuttgart, Freiburg). Fresh bavarian pilsner with quality organic ingredients used, though in rather modest doses, not to offend anyone. Fine-pored lacing and head. Overall thin but refreshing. Good malt quality (almond dryness, cf Ayinger) and present hop (grassy) bitterness dominate. Dry palate, yet watery texture = thirst quenching. Some muffled, hard to define aromas and taste notes in the mix (cardboard effect). Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - DEC 29, 2012
29 dec 2012, bottle. Yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is floral and sweet straw. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Sweet straw and mild caramel. Meh.
