500ml bottle. Aroma is hay, light hops. Appearance is pale yellow with a small white head. Taste is light sour and bitter. Has a lively carbonationand a light sweet finish. Overall a ery nice Pilsner. dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - OCT 17, 2004
Floral hops aroma, with notes of maltiness and skunkiness. Taste is malty, slightly sweet, with hints of honey. Body is too watery though. What started good, became bad in the end. Not enough hoppiness for a Pilsener. Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Clean, refreshing, w/ full thick body surprisingly. Best organic beer Ive had yet. Slight funk aftertaste though.. edpeg (904) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 28, 2012

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours a bit hazy with some micro sediment floatingin the body surface, body colour is bright golden, carbonarion visually is gentle, head is initially small, frothy, slowly decreases to minimal, slightly off - white, rather no lacing.
Aroma: Graphite, some gentle accidity, mineral nose, chalkyness, maltyness is hidden somewhere at the background and mainly dominated by herbal hoppyness, a bit hars but not as aromatic as in ’Hacker - Pschorr Pilsener’. A bit milky with some interesting nutty - woody hints, earthy, soily hops.
Flavour: Earthy hoppy nose, soil comes at front, than comes nicely pronounced bitterness on palate with still existant aromatic nose and decent grainy aftertaste, very well balanced between all the ingredients. A traditional, pure Classic German Pilsener being brewer according to the unchanged, old, traditional receipe. Some notes of cardboard and paper, dustyness and soilyness, saltyness dur to hops and carbon dioxide, barley grains. Sharp bitterness strenghting itself coming towards finish. Finish duration is very long, citruses, lemon, grapefruit.
Palate: Body is light, texture is very dry with sharp hoppy bitterness, finish feel is chalky, grainy, dusty, dry.
UPDATED: JUN 27, 2015 Clean and fresh Noble hops accentuate this excellent session beer. This beer pours a nice frothy head, and releases a pleasing Noble aroma with just a subtle hint of malt. The finish is slightly spicy, and almost a touch lemony, but it is quite smooth nonetheless. Pleasantly grassy and straw make up the middle notes. I re-rated this fine beer after having it most weekends this summer. It is THE best pilsner I have ever had. Just excellent and fresh and perfectly brewed. Just an outstanding pilsner and THE one that American micros should strive to duplicate. One of my all-time three favorite beers. darkseduction (742) - Zweibrücken, GERMANY - NOV 26, 2015
Flasche 50cl. Hell goldenes Pils mit blumig-grasiger Hopfennote. Typische Bittere. Ausgewogen. Kein Hopfenmonster, dezent kitzelt es die verwöhnten Geschmacksknospen. Gut gelungen. ischas (721) - - SEP 30, 2015
