Bottle. 4.8%. Dusty aroma, some predator. Golden colour, small, stable, creamy white head. Dusty hop flavour, not very bitter. Good mouthfeel. Has some strange flavour to it, perhaps skunked. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2008

Bottled sample at the Top of the Hops Festival, Charlottesville, Organic version. Aroma of clear pale amber color with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of sweet grainy malts and honey. The taste is herbal notes, grainy malts, honey and some toasted bread. Medium bodied. bierkoning (13392) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 3, 2005
Bottle from Dortmunder: thanks! Soapy and somewhat flowery aroma with just a touch of hops. Medium to full bodied. Malt, cologne, vanilla. A fair deal of hopbitterness. Boiled milk. Hints of licorice. Disappointing aroma, but the flavor is quite OK. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 6, 2011
11.2 oz oddly-shaped green bottle, organic.
Pours a hazy gold, appears to be unfiltered. It has a fluffy white head that leaves lots of lacing.
The smell is earthy baked bread all the way. Im not smelling much variance form the hops besides straight up earth and a bit of cat urine. It isn’t a skunky urine smell either. It is reminiscent of American pilseners.
The taste is decent. The hops are super earthy and floral and they dominate the taste with an underlying bread tone. There is not much bitterness, only a subtle kiss.
It is interesting, the hops seem very american and they caught me off guard. They aren’t super bitter but very key to the flavor, usually a German pilsener is a perfect combo of malt and hops, this one is a bit more skewed, and not in the best way but an acceptable way. It is like a better version of Prima Pils.

cloudy yellow, smooth white head. bitter euro hoppy pils aroma, but also a little flowery hoppy in there too. some dry malts. flavor is malty, hay and dough and very slighltly sourish, hops not so prominent. I think the organic malts are not so good as the non-organic regarding taste. For a german pils, somewhat dissapointing kevnic2008 (12016) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - AUG 17, 2012
Smells a bit sweet. Corn and wheat. Sweet and mild grains. Tastes actually better and better as I drink it. Not great but alright. Decent for a whatever pilsner.
