500 ml bottle. A bit hazy orange, golden body with a small disappearing white head. Aroma is very fruity, like citrus, with malt and some hops. Flavor is refreshing fruity, a soft maltyness, hints of yeast and a balanced bitterness. Long, nice finish with hints of orange. A well made pilsner.

Bottle:
Pours hazy, light yellow-gold with a tall, white head.
Skunked, green glass scent, over grain malt....
Sour sharp grain...lemon/lime flavor.....
Actually pretty clean and crisp once you get past the aroma.....

Wer hätte das gedacht? Ein biobier in form eines feinhopfigen Ale ? Hopfig mit Etwas Mais, dazu etwas Butter und Getreide. Stellenweise suse, aber jederzeit voller Aromen und Klasse. Super.

Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate grass/hay, pilsner malt, some faint skunkiness, and dust. It pours a transparent light gold with a large creamy white head that has great retention and leaves a lot of soapy lacing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with with a quick dose of light sweetness. The finish has moderate grassy bitterness and light cracker. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of pale malt, flowers, light hops, a hint of sugar and a nice fruity and citrus smell. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal malts with a little hoppiness, some light sugars, a bit of spice and a dry finish. Aftertaste shows mostly malt, but a nice balance of lighter hops and some citrus. Overall, a very nice beer with a great mild flavour, but still showing some fresh flavours - all without bitterness. I sampled this stubby (german style) 33 cL bottle purchased from Old Europe restaurant in Washington, DC for US$6.00 today on 23-March-2013.

11.2oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan body. Foamy white head. Big, classic noble hop aroma..grassy, spicy...jumos out at you. Medium bodied, the creamy yeast tones give it a sort of Kellerbier feel, or even Zwickel, but the hefty noble hops flavors are very Pils centered. Significantly more enjoyable than most US versions, and pretty solid for a German beer as well. Good stuff, World Class Pils.

(330ml bottle thanks to Cavie) clearish pale yellow, few white bubbles. Nose is absolutely atrocious. Very skunky, weird fruit, stale grain, metallic, sugar, and lemonade. Everything that could smell wrong with a beer does in this one. Tastes like a pilsner though. Earthy, raw grain, sweet, and soft carbonation.

From a funny shaped green bottle with a date code 87:39..B26. When I popped the lid it gushed all over the place, never expected that for apilsner. Pour looks like lemon ade, hazy. And there is this big head that never fades bt just goes craggy. Is a little veggie on the aroma, but mostly sterile metal. Taste is not bad, fairly laid back attitude on the alky but there is still enough bitterness inthere to let you know it is pilsner. Yes, every pour is this giant head and I must say, it is pretty attractive looking. Relaxed and gentleman like on the taste buds, almost comes across like a slightly bitter hefe. As the session continues there is this constantly building pilsner attitude that grows right up to the finish. Good overall beer rating experience, not bad and better than the average beer.

ganache (6065) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 6, 2012
Bottle by 06.06.12. Lots of hay in the nose, pours clear golden with a soapy white head. Taste is surprisingly bitter, medium body is crisp with a light hint of metal, otherwise clean. Sparkles, has decent hop character and water that allows those hops to kick up.

Bottle. Golden colour with a big white head. Hoppy spicy aroma and a hoppy spicy bitter dry taste. Medium body and a bitter dry finish.
