11.2 oz oddly-shaped green bottle, organic.
Pours a hazy gold, appears to be unfiltered. It has a fluffy white head that leaves lots of lacing.
The smell is earthy baked bread all the way. Im not smelling much variance form the hops besides straight up earth and a bit of cat urine. It isn’t a skunky urine smell either. It is reminiscent of American pilseners.
The taste is decent. The hops are super earthy and floral and they dominate the taste with an underlying bread tone. There is not much bitterness, only a subtle kiss.
It is interesting, the hops seem very american and they caught me off guard. They aren’t super bitter but very key to the flavor, usually a German pilsener is a perfect combo of malt and hops, this one is a bit more skewed, and not in the best way but an acceptable way. It is like a better version of Prima Pils.

Bottle. Pours clear and golden with a stable off-white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Tastes malty, then a bit like fruit and then comes a little bitterness. Medium carbonation. All in all a very decent southern German Pils. neverleaveopen (254) - GERMANY - MAY 29, 2013

Bottle in CT. Pours a not entirely clear gold with a voluminous, white head. Nose holds some biscuity malts, dank hops, crispy straw. Very nice flavor, not too sweet, the bitterness is just right, cleansing and cutting, grass, hay, straw, that kind of think. Good, light to medium in body with average carbonation. Earthy, grassy hops on the finish that linger shortly, and a good balance of malty sweetness. Very nice, well balanced beer. McTapps (6899) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2014
Pils pours out of the bottle in a clear golden colour with low steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste of intense and fresh hops, citrus, grass, oranges, herbs and spruce. Very well-balanced and intense hoppiness combined with a tasty freshness. Surprisingly nice and tasty Pils. jgb9348 (6324) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Very hazy golden coloured body with a one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of pale malt, flowers, light hops, a hint of sugar and a nice fruity and citrus smell. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal malts with a little hoppiness, some light sugars, a bit of spice and a dry finish. Aftertaste shows mostly malt, but a nice balance of lighter hops and some citrus. Overall, a very nice beer with a great mild flavour, but still showing some fresh flavours - all without bitterness. I sampled this stubby (german style) 33 cL bottle purchased from Old Europe restaurant in Washington, DC for US$6.00 today on 23-March-2013. bpreo (2863) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUL 28, 2013
I had the Organic version, which came a skinny necked bottle. Very delicious. MichaelAwesome (6546) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - JAN 23, 2014
Wer hätte das gedacht? Ein biobier in form eines feinhopfigen Ale ? Hopfig mit Etwas Mais, dazu etwas Butter und Getreide. Stellenweise suse, aber jederzeit voller Aromen und Klasse. Super.
